Looking for tips and tools for teaching Media Literacy to children or teens in your classroom or library? Come hear from experts in the field who have developed lesson plans, activities, and other resources you can use tomorrow!
This series of free workshops is open to all K-12 educators, as well as public librarians who work with children or teens. Each session will be held on Zoom, on a Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. There will be an in-depth presentation from a guest speaker, as well as time to process and interact with job-alike peers in breakout rooms. Zoom link details will be provided after registration.
Presenters for Part 2 of the series include Ken Boyd from CIVIX, Mike Caulfield from the UW Center for an Informed Public, and Joel Breakstone from the Stanford History Education Group’s Civic Online Reasoning.
